Billy knocking down a wee bit wall, still two wee bits to go. The patio door is the old one from up stairs, it will be there untill we build the conservatory. The old kitchen will be there for a wee while as well. Was at Ikea today looking at units and taking photographs untill a staff member told me your are not allowed to take photographs!

Whats happening in the kitchen

The sink has been moved to the other end of the kitchen where the one in the old laundry room was. The dish washer has been moved there as well.

We have put the fish into the pond outside the back door. I cleaned the inside pond out a bit of a messy job. This part of the house where the inside pond is or was is going to be a hallway taking you into the lounge at the back of the house or into the new room (not sure what we are going to call it) The new room is going to have a living area then you can go into the kitchen. We are going to build a conservatory

onto the front of the house outside what used to be the kitchen window.

Temporary doors in Living room.

These doors are to keep the dust away from the living room and will come down in the future. Its a bit strange having to go through patio doors to get into the living room!

Taking down mirrors

This is at the back door where the mirrors used to be, thought you would like to see a different angle. It looks so different now with the mirrors away. A little bit of this wall will be taken down but we have decieded to keep this as an entrance to the new kitchen. We will also be able to go into the kitchen the way we used to go

into it.

Ceiling coming down

Stewart took the ceiling down in the kitchen, dinning room and what was the laundry room.

Quite a job, very dusty. It makes the room seem so much biggar. Also took away the big cupboard where the pin board was and doors which took you through to the living room.

The patio door out side our berroom
